I went to the ER this morning and had a very positive experience. I waited maybe five minutes before they brought me back. The nurse, Victoria, took great care of me. Dr Masching saw me right away, and even got me a cup of water himself. What I appreciated the most was that he gave me an estimate of how long I would be there, and it was right on the money. Thank you to the team for your care!
The ER is an absolute joke, nursing staff has no bedside manners. I’ve reported the same nurse Brittany several times, arrogant and act like patients don’t know what they’re talking about. I have two masters degrees and have been a science teacher for 10 years. Also have lived with type 1 diabetes for 22 years, but to be told things about management that are grossly inaccurate is insane. I have only ever had one good nurse in the ER department. They need to watch their cameras and see how lazy their staff is.
Nurses and staff very nice. But we waited for hours only to hear everything came back ok. She got home and started vomiting brown liquids and when I called they said they can’t evaluate over the phone coming back is up to the patient. Felt as if I could have got better medical expertise off web md 10/10 on nice friendly staff 0/10 on actual medical treatment!
The way nurses treated my mother tonight was absolutely disgusting! I can't even believe how they have acted. It seems the most this er can do it small cuts and bruises. Everything else is out of their expertise! All because they couldn't figure out what to diagnose her with they assumed she was faking and treated her as such! Even doing so much as throwing a patient in a chair when she had no control of her body leaving her there like a rag doll all while say disturbing things to my mother! Sanz, Alejandro Federico, MD was very cool and professional. Very funny too. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Also thank you to RN Sarah who assist they both did amazing job I will highly recommend the OSF medical building .
