Believe the negative reviews. Today August 13th I was admitted by ambulance at 5:30am with complications in breathing and sharp stabbing pains in my breaths. I walked out at 8:45am and not a single nurse or doctor checked me. They took my blood and pee and left me in the room. Not a single nurse or doctor checked my chest or breathing while there. Never thought I'd leave a good review for an E.R, but i have to give a shoutout to the nurses in the L&D. I was an unexpected guest , so I can't say how the labor part of everything is. The nurses were very accommodating. They respected my birth plan & hospitality was top knotch.

I just wanted to thank everyone at osf for giving me the best delivery experience I could have ever asked for. The nurses, doctors, and staff were all so kind, patient, supportive, and caring during one of the most important moments of my life. I was transferred to OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru from Mendota for gallbladder surgery, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Lesley, Teresa, Martha, Jen, and Marsa were all amazing — every one of them was kind, professional, and made the whole process easy on me. I never felt confused or left in the dark at any point. Zero complaints. I'd recommend this team to anyone.

I am very disappointed in Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, Illinois. My mother was transferred there for surgery on a sore on her behind. On February 11, 2026., from Ottawa, Saint Elizabeth, Medical Center, within 20 minutes of being at the Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, not even comfortable in her bed yet the doctor that was on duty I won’t say his name here, but I know his name the nurse practitioner that was working.
