If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband was rushed to Saint Francis ER for a trauma to his leg and foot due to a work related injury where 2tons of steel feel on leg and foot. They gave him fentanyl, morphine, tylenol and oxycodone for pain. It was scary situation for us his family . The first nurses he had were awesome and seemed to care. The next nurse on duty must of been on her last 12 hour shift because she started off nice but at the end she seem agitated. We didn't do too much at all We were here for 10hours plus ... read more
They are a joke. The nurses and techs never listen at all, never respond to pages, and you never get off the "fall risk". They feed you incorrect diets and meds. Ive waited hours for a bed pan not getting one, then called "slow" for using a bed pan.
I was VERY disappointed in my visit on 5/13. There were people that was there since 9am that checked themselves out because it was 5 pm an haven't been helped. I understand a ER waiting room you wait an it goes by "emergency" I get that I have a heart I truly understand what our nurses and doctors go through. But you have rooms on the other side and upstairs. "Nurses said they don't want to open them up" SAD!! Went in super sick no fever couldn’t stop throwing up with chest and stomach pain, said it’s from cannabis use turns out I found out from Pekin hospital it was ulcers not cannabis use. Do not recommend.
Father in law (62 years old) was in a bad semi-truck wreck 5.5 hrs away from home and the ambulance took him here, little did we know that would be the biggest mistake ever. He told them his whole left side of his body was in excruciating pain, they took him in and he sat there for hours before being treated. May I also mention his phone was destroyed in the wreck, along with all his belongings, glasses and they made sure to cut all of his clothes off in the process just to make sure he had nothing left.
