I just wanted to thank the nurses, tech, and Doctor after my ER visit. They all took such great care with me. They were all very compassionate, kind, and attentive. Thank you so much for all you do.
If I could give no stars I would. I was there almost 8 hours. Did not leave until 2am with my three year old who needed stitches. The doctor was huffing and rolling her eyes because a 3 year old was crying and screaming about stitches! It was the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen. The wait time was absolutely unbelievable. We had been sitting in a room for 4 hours not knowing what was going on. The nurse and doctor I had today treated me with respect, were very caring and compassionate. Unlike the hospitals in Peru, Ottawa, Princeton. I’m making Mendota my hospital from now on!
I was a patient in the swing bed program for approximately 1 1/2 months. This was by far the best hospital stay I have ever experienced, amazing staff, all included, from environmental services, kitchen/food service staff, CNAs(can’t remember what they are called now sorry if I offend anyone), RNs, Charge nurses, Drs, PTs, caseworkers, administrators, clergy, and anyone I may have forgotten. I absolutely love the Mendota hospital! The staff is spectacular. Very caring, helpful, kind. I live in ottawa and I'll never go there again unless I'm literally about to die. Then I'm going to tell them to transfer me to Mendota.
