My dad came here 3 times in one day. The first two times he was shrugged off and told to go home and rest. No blood work done. No scans or xrays. Nothing. By the. Third time I had enough and demanded we be sent elsewhere by ambulance if they wouldnt take us seriously. After demanding they transfer us to better care elsewhere for over 2 hours we were finally sent by ambulance to Marquette. Had an excellent experience today. Made a hunters mistake and sliced my finger pretty good. Walked in to a very polite and professional registration staff member who had me all checked in. While I waited I talked to a very very nice and humorous security officer who kept my mind off my injury. He was awesome. Forget her name but the triage nurse took great care of me and had me all set to go to a room. Dr Gonzalez was extremely professional and took great care of me. They get patients mixed up. Was told my love one had passed...Long story short it wasn't my loved one it was a patient with the same first name as my loved one.
*EDIT: COMING HERE WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DECISION. Nearly 6 months later I am still being billed and harassed! After numerous phone calls repeatedly OSF continues to act like I didn't have insurance coverage and ignores attempts of me trying cover the bill. They've now sent to collections and continue to disregard the fact that I had coverage. Absolute FRAUD. I went to OSF for abdominal pain after a hypoglycemia episode. Dr. Goulet and her team were absolutely amazing in addressing my concerns. They were both compassionate and professional I would absolutely recommend this hospital. They were expeditious as well. Luckily, I beat the rush. We need more Dr's. like her. She needs a raise and a promotion. She really does care about her patients. Thanks again.
