On March 14, 2024, my wife and I entered into a written flat-fee agreement with Lauren Otto of Otto Family Law for the “preparation and implementation of our estate plan.” The full flat fee (approximately $772) was paid upfront. First impression was good but then office waiting area is locked. Lack of communication(not working Fridays didnt help), the upcharged in middle of the term. The lack of will to close our case because of fear of poking the bear. They are expensive compared to other lawyers that have way more experience in court case, even with family, business experience in comparison to be able to communicate face to face.

I am writing on behalf of my father who spent thousands of dollars for a lawyer that did barely anything for him. I thought when you pay someone to work for you that they advocate for your best interest. My dads lawyer did not do a very good job at that and he did not come out well. I think that whoever is reading this should read all the reviews and choose wisely when picking a lawyer.
