I had a very troubling experience at OVME Chapel Hill that I feel is important for others to know. I received facial injections on October 29, and within days I developed significant swelling, pain, and an infection under my eye and cheek. The infection became severe enough that I ended up at Duke Hospital and later had to see a facial plastic surgeon, who removed two rounds of pus from the area.
