Dr. Applegate and her staff were delightful. The wait was long, but she’s thorough and even though you know she has a lot of other patients waiting, you don’t feel rushed and she actually does her homework and knows your history and cares about you. This was my first visit and I wish I could see her whenever I had anything wrong, because besides the long wait time, she is a very good doctor and so kind.
Like where do I even begin?🤣 I got to my appointment 10 mins early, my appointment was 8:15. I got the nureo dept and I got checked in and in a room fairly quickly. Once I was in my room, I sat and waited for 45 mins before I was seen by a student doctor, she was great. Super sweet and asked all the detailed questions. Dr. Applegate is thorough and inquisitive. She is clearly very knowledgeable in her field. She had treated me nearly 15 years ago. I moved away and have now moved back to the area. She RECOGNIZED me. Even recounted some of my old complaints! Now that’s SERVICE! I’m looking forward to her managing my neurological care. She’s the best! @;—
After reading these reviews and seeing how often other patients were left waiting a considerable length of time to see a doctor, I'm even more upset that I wasn't able to get in to see Dr. Courtney after being just over 5 minutes late. I checked in on the 3rd floor at 10:05a for a 10:00a appt. The address listed, when entered into the GPS, did not take me to the correct area so I had to drive around, park, then call, for directions. I have been w Dr. Applegate along time. She seems so business like at first. But as we learned each other I could feel her concern for me. She feels sorry for u when u get big shots, will also talk about odd things to distract u. She has saved my quality of life many times over. Sometimes, not always, u may have a wait. But her and her staff are worth the wait. P.s. if your a southern girl like me, Don't call her sis, hun, ect. She don't appreciate it.
