WHAT A NIGHTMARE Three times before my scheduled appointment I asked about the cost and financial aid. They ignored my request, then 48 hours before my scheduled appointment I got a phone call stating that I would need to pay 1200 plus dollars and an additional 2800 plus dollars, excuse me but this is a medical necessity, and second, this is a customer-service driven entity. I had cataract surgery on both eyes. My surgery was a success with one problem. I have the same vision as when I was in my early forties. Excellent distance vision and need readers only for small print. I was also going color blind from cataracts and everything is bright and beautiful again. My first eye surgery was performed by Dr. Joyce Choe. She was fantastic. I could not tell I was being operated on and had almost no pain when I recovered. The religious undertones of this establishment are very creepy and I was unable to identify the religious affiliation before I became a client. I cannot recommend PCLI and feel that I was treated differently because I was not open to being proselytized. After receiving the calming medication prior to my Lasik eye surgery, I was asked if I wanted the doctor to pray for me. This shocked me and felt very inappropriate for a medical facility.
