This was the scariest moment ever to know I would be having eye surgery. The doctors and staff put me very, very much at ease and did an excellent job removing the cataract from my eye. Recovery was easy and fast. I even had a great followup appointment at both the clinic and at my regular optometrist visit. I would highly recommend Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute to everyone in need of such treatment.
Medical staff was kind, respectful, knowledgeable and knew my history well. Chelsea the Tech pit me at ease so my blood pressure went down. Dr. Edgington was patient and skilled enough to hold my shaking head in position while he did laser cataract correction. Amazing staff!
Professional, Caring, & Supportive. It's refreshing to find a medical care facility that does things the right way. Suprisingly, It's actually a very easy and comfortable procedure. Just had my second surgery done. Both eyes are wonderful. With apologies to Paul Simon, PCLI "gives us the nice bright colors, gives us the greens of summers, makes you think all the world's a sunny day" . . . . . Oh yeah!
1st procedure for cataracts, Left eye. Went perfect. 2nd procedure, Right eye had issues. Pressure built up causing pain and nausea same night as surgery. Follow up the next day with my optometrist didn’t help. PCLI encouraged me to come in right away late in the day. Dr. Lemay was great. Very thorough. PCLI in Tualatin is a welcoming place from the moment you check in at the appointment desk. Every person you meet at the clinic is so kind and caring, and you know that each person is an expert at their job. I appreciated the great care and skills that I received throughout my cataract surgeries. I had toric monovision lens implants. For the first time in over 20 years, I can read text without glasses or contacts!
