I received excellent care from the staff at the Boise location. Everyone was very kind, friendly and professional beginning with the receptionists and all other staff. Shoutout to my driver the day of surgery who actually helped to calm my nervousness and informed me of parts of the process and procedure that I wasn’t aware of (in particular that the surgeon wasn’t going to be the doctor who I’d seen for my pre op appointments). This was a great experience for me. Everyone that worked with me was very knowledgeable, kind, not in a rush, listened well, and answered questions clearly. The place runs like a very well-oiled machine. It is fantastic. It was the perfect place to go for cataracts. On consecutive days, PCLI surgery removed cataracts, corrected significant astigmatism and installed corrective lenses that ameliorated extreme nearsightedness on BOTH eyes, limiting the time normally built in between procedures on two eyes and reducing the awkwardness, discomfort and loss of functional ability that I would have experienced had they scheduled the surgeries two weeks apart. Very professional! Sent me info so I knew every step that was going to happen. They were kind and friendly and kept my appointment timely. Made sure I was comfortable and doing well before they released me. Also made follow ups on me! I would refer them to everyone. Nice things was I got both eyes done in 2 days instead of waiting. Good job guys! I can see really good now!
Long story short, their office told me they were in network with my insurance. Blue Cross of Idaho told me they were in network. I had the consultation, scheduled my cataract surgery and when I arrived for my surgery, was told they made a mistake and were not in network. They said it would now cost me $6,000 out of pocket.
