On December 29, 2025, I had my first appointment (VA referral) at the Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute (PCLI) in Tacoma, Washington. The check-in process was straightforward, and the appointment began on time. Everything was great except the injection in my eye. The nurse immediately after putting the lidocaine gel in my eye inserted the needle. She did not give the medicine time to numb my eye. It was extremely painful. Overall the staff were wonderful. The doctor was great

From initial consult to completion of surgery, this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The staff is harmoniously professional and excellent at their jobs. While I had a different surgeon for each eye, both were top notch and the procedure was a breeze. Thanks Drs. Chung and Yoon. For anyone with cataracts this is truly a positive life changing experience. Ask your eye doctor for a referral to PCLI!
I loved the way how Doctor Yoon did the cataract procedure surgery .Except the person named Charles who did the anesthesia onjection,please becarefull next time to every patient your going to inject the anesthesia .Also the Doctors assistant earlier today during our follow up check up please improved your customer service next time with all your upcoming patients and be mice because every single smile and good vibes yoi shows to patients are a huge impacted and help to everyone ...
