I went in for a follow up to an MRI. I have not been able to schedule the MRI because Pain Relief Solutions did not submit the MRI auth request to my insurance until NOV. 10. My first appointment with them was on Oct 14th. That is a long time to wait with severe to moderate lower back pain.
Good professional staff. Sometimes wait to be seen is too much. Once waited more than an hour while I really wasn't feeling well from recent surgery and hospitalization. Another time I started not feeling well while waiting. After about half an hour, I was getting worse and became concerned about being able to drive home. I still had not been taken to an exam room. This place for the most part does a great job. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because of the extended wait times for scheduled appointments. I hav not been to an appointment without having to wait at minimum an extra hour past my scheduled appointment. Other than that, the staff does a great job when they finally do see you. My appointment was an hour ago and I still have not been seen. This place is behind and late often. Not enough chairs in the waiting area. They have no care for how long you wait because they know you are a hostage. You have to stay if you want a refill on your medication. And are always booked out at least a month so you can't reschedule. The only nice thing is the young lady in the front who has to deal with all of us
I was recommended a series of 3 injections at my first appointment for my back, i have spinal stenosis. I was both open to them, and excited for them. I was at my appointment for my first injection, and they hand me paperwork that says your insurance may/may not pay for this in full or at all. You can be liable for up to 350. For an injection i've never had before, that may/may not reduce my pain, thats a lot of money. These injections were my only option.
