I have been coming here for years and have always been satisfied. I usually see Dr. Kirkland and love her but I had an urgent need with my dog and he saw Dr. Hanbury and I could not be more pleased! She did an incredible job with him and I cannot express my gratitude enough.
Palo Duro Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing, everyone there was extremely kind and caring! We did not have an appointment, (considering it was an emergency) and they rushed my cat into surgery very quickly! My fur baby is now doing amazing during her recovery process. I cannot thank Dr.Hanbury enough for saving my baby! Definitely will be going to see them for all of her future medical needs. Oh and I never got the name of the vet tech, but he was the best. We really appreciate everyone at the office! They were amazing! We had to drive 2 hours and so worth it because they helped out out guinea pigs. I highly recommend them to anyone!
Writing this review after some time has passed to share objective facts. Our dog had eye-removal surgery at Palo Duro Animal Hospital and was sent home without a protective cone, being told one wasn’t needed. Soon afterwards, she scratched open her incision and had to return. Apologies given, antibiotics prescribed and cone sent home. For the next follow-up (drop-off) to again check stitches, we stated in writing and verbally that no procedures or sedation should be done without contacting us first. All the doctors and staff here are amazing. We have been taking our fur babies here for over a decade, and they have given them the best care possible. They are kind and compassionate and help to give the best care possible for our pets.
