Partners in building was great to deal with. They helped us design very unique layout while helping us maintain our over all budget requirements. No up sale strategy from these guys. Our house was built in approximately 235 days from the ground breaking..... literal unheard of speed for a homesite in Brentwood. I actually bumped into the city inspector one day and he also spoke very highly of them....especially their water proofing details and quality of workmanship behind the ways. Great builder.
My family and I purchased our PIB home in AUG 2018; moved in about 60 days later. The sales process, quarterbacked by Barbara Ann, was smooth. No hiccups at all...one disclaimer - we did buy a spec home... Like with any new home, we had a few wrinkles to work through. However, that is to be expected. All repairs were completed to our satisfaction. Yes, PIB has had some growing pains on the construction side during 2018-2019. Update: It has been a year since we have moved into our house. It was an extremely painful experience during 2 1/2 years of building. Scars are still there but we have been enjoying the house. It will take more time to completely heal but I must admit Partners in Building has improved their management and organization over the last 2 years. I can say that we would have had a much better experience if we had started the building process now instead of 2017. The care and quality put in to these homes is lacking. They under pay and undervalue their subcontracts that then, in turn, do subpar work. I had to have my hard wood floors redone within the first year (due to water damage from an improperly installed front door and window in my front entrance) and they mismanaged the project from start to finish.
