I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Figgs. As a relatively new patient, through our sessions she has brought to light new insights into my psychological challenges, coupled with what she learned through communication with my previous psychiatrist (who is now retired). Although my diagnosis and symptoms are consistent, the contrast between my therapist’s care and my psychiatric care has been significant. Psychiatric visits felt rushed and focused primarily on medication management, with little integration or collaboration. For Complex PTSD, this lack of coordinated care has been deeply discouraging, especially when I felt repeatedly required to prove the severity of my condition.
