She attended medical school at Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia. She then completed her 3-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where she also served as Chief Fellow.

Dr Patty Wang is knowledgeable and listens to you. She makes suggestions to improve your communications with her. She's an excellent listener and takes appropriate action with your primary caregiver and other doctors who need information regarding your illness. She says it and she follows through to be sure it's done.
Dr. Wang was very professional and listened to me. I came away realizing my organs are wearing out. As some products suggested for me to use are older than me. I thank Dr. Wang for her concern and understanding.
Very organized office, friendly staff and no agonizing waiting time. Love Dr Wang; informative, professional, pleasant demeanor and took the time to explain the details.
Always explains things so I fully understand what is going on. Feel comfortable knowing I can get in touch easily if I need to. Always so friendly and takes time to answer or explain my questions. I would highly recommend her and the entire staff to any family and friends.
She is an awesome doctor!! She did both my endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. I highly recommend her!!!
