I’m a “strategic account” at Paychex and have never experienced worse service. We are going on month 3 of trying to incorporate time and attendance and I’m now going on weeks of no response. I asked for their manager to contact me… she’s at a conference for 2 weeks now with no response to emails to her and this morning got an out of office reply so I know I have the right email. Very dissatisfied with my service that I received from paychex. They took my payroll over the phone yesterday but never processed it yesterday. Why would a payroll company screw up on a payroll. I have to write up my own checks and the employee that get direst deposit keeps calling me for his money. I rate your company -00
Absolutely garbage customer service. I’ve been a nanny for years and this is the WORST payroll company I have ever been paid through. I have NEVER had so many delays in being paid and issues that require my very busy boss to call customer service. They won’t even speak to me about issues I’m having with the account they had me create (which have nothing to do with my boss). Seriously could not recommend choosing ANYONE ELSE more!
If you are a business owner, run don't walk from this company. They sell you the moon and the stars but they do not mention how if you change your mind later you have all these hefty fees that they would charge you. I opted to manage my employee's 401K account with them a few months ago. This month when I tried to stop this service they told me I would have to pay a $1500 termination fee if I leave them. Do not use this payroll service. Their customer service is outsourced and they are unable to handle the volume of clients they already have. If you encounter an issue with this company, good luck at ever reaching a person, in my experience it must have been the employee of the year whom said hello to me on the phone and left the line open. It's always good to trust a "third party" to handle pay, health insurance, etc.... very trustworthy...
