I feel very bad writing a negative review because I don’t like to hurt anyone, especially as a business owner myself. I used Paychex to be in tax and state compliance, and they were suggested by another business owner. They charged us a lot of fees upfront that we were not expecting. They had us on a lot of stuff we didn’t use, and they were charging us. They were calling very frequently trying to upsell us. Even pressuring me to a program that cost $800 a month. Worst payroll company I've ever dealt with. I called multiple times to cancel my service, but no one in the billing department ever answered. They kept charging my bank account even after my cancellation attempts, and I had to block the payments through my bank. Now they're sending me a bill for a service I tried repeatedly to cancel. Very frustrating experience. I would not recommend them.
Worse business ever . Hiring a payroll company is suppose to make your life easy and less stressful definitely not the case Dan Mangano makes it sound like it is the greatest thing hiring them then once you hire him disappears and you get passed on to many other people. When there's a problem no one fixes them other than pass you on someone else. I haven't been with them for 6 months and still have issues with stuff they didn't do right .
Absolutely no help on the phone. I need to talk to a human being and they dont exist. I got locked out of my account and my employer wasnt availble to help me with that. I call and I keep getting redirected to go to the website. The web chat I was sitting there for over 40 min with no reply. I just want my W2 and to get into my account. Worst worst worst payroll company, im still, they over pay, underway, or forget to pay employees, they used to be the best. I can't even get a hold of my specialist in 2 yrs. Redundant issues. Im looking at other companies as im on a 45 min hold.
