We have been going to pediatric association DeLand for years now. My son has always been scared of the doctors. Thank fully the nurse Megan help him feel safe while doing her checks. He also loves the front office staff Ashley and Felicia they make each trip enjoyable for my children. This office has some of the best clinicians also they truly are a welcoming loving office
Had my daughter's annual physical 6 days ago. She needed multiple meds for school (today is the first day) & forms completed. Nothing was sent to the pharmacy. When I arrived to ask about it and request the forms, the receptionist blurted out (speaking over what I was saying), "Take a seat mom, our whole system is down" She wouldn't let me explain that I just needed the forms and for the meds to be called in. This office used to be great. We started going here because of the wonderful pediatricians - and the office was promptly taken over by this group, there was no consistent doctor available for over 2 years (I guess there is now?) and it is not impossible to even speak to anyone in the actual office or request basic records. The office staff, which may still be the same, used to be amazing - but i’m not even sure how to contact them directly now. Cold and mean doctor. I was concerned about my child vision and she said “ the test exam is normal” but nobody did no eye exam on my child and I told her that and she answered by saying “ that’s what it says in my computer and I’m going with that”. The DeLand pediatric keeps changing doctors you will never get the same doctor.
Our main office is the office off Saxon in Deltona but ended up needed to go to Deland for a same day appointment as our daughter was very ill. I am glad we went to Deland! Great service and very informative after care for our daughter.
