This was our first visit to this office, and everything went great! Everyone was super nice and caring. My daughter has been sick for a while, and Dr. Blanco was wonderful--she spent time with us to thoroughly understand the issue. She talked to my daughter and took the time to get to know her, which really made a difference. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews because we had an excellent experience here.

My daughter's Endocrine moved out of her private practice to this new Pediatric Associates office. When I first saw the name, I imagined it differently--a free-standing building where many different specialists practiced--in actuality it is very similar to other Pediatric Associates; inside and out, as they are located in a shopping plaza. This pediatric associates is for patients who need to see a specialty doctor. We came here to see the endocrinologist. We were on time for the appointment, were checked in immediately and had about a 5 minute wait before we were seated inside. Before we were seating in the room, the nurse technician took the height, weight, blood pressure, and temp. Then took us to our room where she asked us some more personal questions. Waited 1hour and no sign of Dr. Blanco ; when inquired on estimated time I was told new patient process is 2 hours. This two hour wait was never communicated upon booking appointment or with any appointment reminder - also child is NOT a new patient to Pediatric Associates, which the whole convenience of the brand is they're electronic for efficiency. Today, I was late for my appointment because I thought it was at 2:45 and it was at 2:15, I don't have a car I use Uber and I live in Fort Lauderdale, my son really needed these blood tests and the two receptionists were super rude, as if they were not human, I explained to them what had happened and I apologized to them and still in a derogatory way and talking to each other, as if I wasn't there and they didn't care, very bad service, if they don't know how to treat the client and more when it's a medical center don't don'... read more

I went thinking we'd be getting a blood test for allergy --for a random cough that would only get really intense at night. I don't know if it was the assistant or nurse but she called us in and we did a breathing test for Asthma (I later found out it's called FeNO) and she asked the other employee if he could write up an ACT - which I had no idea what it was at the time- without conducting the test first so I'm guessing Asthma is automatically assumed...turns out my child didn't score anywhere even close to bad. Its not even busy and they are in no hurry to see you at all. Literally one other person in the office besides us and still takes an hour to see the NP.
