Taking care of my babies with no problem. Under staffed at front desk. Only compliant.
i cannot praise the Birmingham, Alabama Pet Paradise highly enough. they are always cheerful, kind, and helpful , not only to their pet charges but also their human companions. i have mentioned this to others many times.
Had to board my pup three days due to Family emergency.. He got the patio suite. Opted for The Picture package. (Worth every dime.) He had the best time ever. I love the staff and how they handle the puppies. Whoever did the photograpy capured some of the best shots of my pup! Also whoever translates from Dog to Human my pups experiences in The daily email home did an excellent job.. Unfortunately now every time my pup gets into the car he thinks we are going to Pet Paradise
My puppy is so happy when he goes to Pet Paradise. You can watch the cameras and he is always so happy playing with the other dogs!
We board our dog here several times a year. They have amazing staff show goes out of their way. Our dog gets nervous boarding, and they give him extra attention to calm him down. Best boarding place we have tried in BHM.
My 2.5-year-old boxer, Bruno, died less than 18 hours after I picked him up from Pet Paradise in Hoover, Alabama. He boarded there from 03/24/26 to 03/29/26. During his stay I never received any call or notification that he was sick, nor did he receive any medical attention. When I arrived to pick him up, Bruno was extremely lethargic, did not have his normal gait, and breathing very rapidly. These were not normal behaviors for him. My Dog caught kennel cough from your location and I informed the front desk and I have been waiting to hear back from a supervisor or manager and have heard nothing. Very disappointed and I will never bring my pup here again. He is up to date on all his vaccinations. Dog peeps be warned they let the dogs play together which is nice but there are too many in one small space.
Took my dog in for grooming and she came back BUTCHERED!! They even told us she has Lymphoma cancer! After getting her from there took her to our veterinary to get her re checked and they told us that NO she doesn't have cancer! Relieved and furious at the same time! I will never take my dog there EVER again! Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!
