The absolute best veterinary clinic in AZ! They truly care not only about the animals but about the people! One of our dogs is 15, she doesn't move as easily as she used to but all the DVMs we've seen have been so sweet and kind to her and move at her pace. We will see any DVM there but absolutely love Dr. Kim. And the techs?!? *chef's kiss* They try are one of a kind!! They are so sweet, kind and helpful!!
One never really understands how mentally hard it is to have a pet, a member of your family, get sick. We had a cat, Sassy, she had a broken jaw. Dr. Kim saw her and gave us some recommendations. We decided to let her jaw heal on its own. Albeit, her jaw was going to be crooked but it didn't seem it would be bad. So we waited, as we waited he jaw seemed to get worse then it had an open infection. We took her to urgent care and they recommended we take her back to Dr. Kim for further evaluation. Watching our 13-year-old furbaby Layla suddenly lose mobility in her back legs (and seeing how much pain she was in) was absolutely heartbreaking. After an ER vet discussed possible IVDD and a round of medications showed no improvement, we were told our options were surgery or considering her quality of life. We felt hopeless. I am soooooo happy with our first visit at this Petsvet Animal Hospital the staff was so very pleasant and helpful right up to helping me carry one of my cats in his carrier into the office and back out to my car. They are so sweet with everything they did for my 2 cats. The vet was very knowledgeable and helpful she (Dr Barbara McKibbin) made sure we understood everything that she was explaining to us. My first experience was to have my 14 yo Golden Retriever put down while visiting in Phoenix. They were amazing, kind and compassionate. My second experience was having my 4 yo deaf Beagle/Jack Russell's annual exam, shots, etc. Again, so kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. I've found my new vet, after losing my 20+ years vet to retirement ♡
