I have spent thousands & thousands of dollars at petvet & the service we have had recently has been absolutely appalling!!!! They didn't listen at my fur baby’s last appointment, the vet nurse ignored the alert on file, they hardly did anything because my baby started getting distressed and they now want me to run around after them by going back again which stresses my cat out so they can prescribe her usual medication. Even though they're not my regular vet, when mine was booked they saw my cat - twice - in the week before Easter, one of the busiest times for them. They truly care about animals. The vet also discussed observing the cat before prescribing expensive medication, but left the prescription at reception so I'd only pay if I felt I needed it and only for the prescription not another visit. Very impressed.
Fergus visited PETVET for the first time & LOVED it!! The staff were all so friendly & he made it through his 3rd vaccinations no problem - all the treats helped ofc!! Completely relaxed visit for Fergus & loads of patience for his new mum!
No matter what vet I see they are always attentive and specifically know how to deal with the breed (pugs). I have been going to Pet Vet Lower Hutt for 12 years - highly recommend. Reception staff/vet nurses always lovely also
These guys really care for their clients - the staff on reception, nurses and vets. I've been in a lot over the last 3 years with an older dog with health issues and am always fully informed of the problems and given options when it comes to treatment. Even my dog loves it - she starts barking with excitement as soon as we head down the right street then drags me in. Followed by grizzles when a vet comes out only to take another patient in!
