I made an appt yesterday to be seen for chronic chest pain, difficulty breathing, and gnarly body aches at this horrendous quack clinic. I want to start off by saying this place is very unprofessional, the NP (Nurse Practitioner) Jon who is not a Dr might I add. Kept hinting that I have a common cold, also kept hinting at that I was making up my symptoms. He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to be tested for Covid or the Flu. I had a fantastic experience at this urgent care center! I was able to book my appointment and fill out all the paperwork the night before (HUGE time-saver when it came to actually visiting the following morning.) The parking lot is spacious and easy to get in and out of, which made the whole process even smoother. I didn’t have to wait long to be seen, and once I was, everything moved quickly and professionally. My husband and I both scheduled appointments yesterday. We were able to get in earlier!!! Front desk person, med asst, and PA were kind, patient, and helpful. They took their time with us: PA explaining diagnosis, treatment, and condition whether we were contagious or not. The PA even called me when I had problems at the first pharmacy! Referred by my family as they said they had used this care facility. Receptionist was professional at intake. Wait time to be seen by NP was reasonable, perhaps 40 minutes. NP was very professional. Went for respitory problem. Ordered lung x-rays (on site), made diagnosis. Ordered prescription for me to my chosen pharmacy. I looked up the prescribed drug online and it fit the exact conditions I was experiencing. My insurance was accepted at this facility. I had a $30 copay. Expected. Terrible experience here multiple times. They used a broken tongue depressor (popsicle stick) to shove into a finger to express an abscess. That is not only extremely unsanitary and unsafe as wood splinters could get left behind, but also was extremely painful for the patient. They rushed everything so they could close, even though they were open for another 40 minutes. They did not provide much information or help, and simply were rude and unethical.
