The care received at Pine Desert Dental has been very good. The 4 star review is regarding insurance coverage. They do bill insurance. The challenge is that coverage for various procedures is below their actual charges. However, they do offer a membership program that covers cleaning and check-ups along with discounts for fillings and other services. We plan to join the program before our next visit.
I needed a "same day" appointment because I was experiencing a lot of continuous dental pain. I just moved to the area and went to Pine Desert Dental on a neighbor's recommendation. I would recommend Dr. Zachary Sunitsch and his staff without hesitation. Their concern for me was real and led to my getting the diagnosis and solution I needed that two previous dentists had missed. I feel fortunate to have a dentist in Sisters, Oregon that I have complete confidence in.
I had a crown fall off. My home is in Arizona but I spend summers in Oregon. I called around and Pine Desert Dental was very kind to me on the phone and got me in as soon as they could. The dentist and his assistant explained everything to me, even took a picture of my problem. I would recommend th to anyone seeking a dentist in Sisyers Oregon.
So patient, kind, and genuinely caring. The attention to detail is incredible, and they really take the time to understand each patient’s needs. I felt completely at ease. I would absolutely recommend them to all my friends!
My initial appointment and exam by Dr. Zach (he introduced himself with his first name) was superior. He used hand sanitizer on his hands before shaking my hand. This is the gold standard in patient care. He was extremely thorough with my exam, gentle and clearly communicated his findings in understandable language.
