Piney Ridge Center is unique in that we exclusively serve children with problematic sexual behaviors that are complicated by mental illness. The treatment program is designed to address both equally. This is achieved through a level-based program that requires residents to take responsibility for both general behavior problems associated with mental health illness as well as problematic sexual behaviors. Residents receive multiple treatment modalities including individual, group, family, and recreational therapy. The highly-... read more

An awful place. They get rid of the staff who actually loved their job and helping the kid’s genuinely. They either make them so burnt out they quit and then are not allowed rehired and given a bad reference. Any job like this kind of facility would want to see all past employees successful in society as well. Unfortunately for piney ridge that’s NOT the goal. They’re a “wolf-Pack” that runs a Colt no one could ever imagine. A lot that have left here or been Fired all followed one another to the next local facility. It’s a S... read more
I was here almost 20 years ago. This place has left me traumatized on top of all the trauma I'd sustained prior in my complicated circumstance/life. After having worked in residential for many years, I know that very few places like Piney Ridge still exist. Piney Ridge is both unique and special in that the people who come to work there every day, come with a purpose and a passion for what they do. Each individual has compassion and unwavering dedication towards all of the youth who are treated there, regardless of age, race, or socioeconomic background. They all share one common goal-to help each youth develop the tools they need in order to return to their lives and su... read more
