I have several autoimmune conditions. I have been suffering about a year and a half with a raw, scaly, itchy, burning neck. During my office visit with Dr. Uglietta on Friday, she recommended that I go back to using Protopic twice a day. I just read that it could be demodecosis (which affects the sebaceous glands) and Protopic would trigger the sudden overgrowth of the mites. What happened to First, do no harm? Now I am considering consulting with an attorney. She will not get away with this. How evil can you get?
At first, I liked Dr. Uglietta. I asked her to prescribe an antifungal for a severe rash so I could get through Christmas. It helped. My cousin, who works for the NIH, said she didn’t think I had psoraisis. This is the 8th dermatologist I’ve seen in around 8 years. None of the prescription ointments or creams are working. She tried to prescribe Zoryve, but it would cost me $300. She wanted to do a biopsy today, which involved a needle injected in my neck. No thanks.
