Perfect tool for a pool owner Neo works great on everything: bottom, walls, waterline, steps. Intelligent enough to have logic for working on a kidney shaped medium size pool in every part of it making it clean in 150 minutes. Beats wybot robot to death. Period. Tangling: not an issue at all if you read user manual. Read it :) Wall climbing: read the manual for how to adjust Surface Control Settings system to match your expectations :) Wonderful product, good job Polaris team, filter out junk reviews.

We use our pool daily, and there is a lot of getting out and jumping back in (tracking stuff back into the pool), so we run him at least once a day (sometimes twice if he doesn't get the whole pool clean due to the size of our pool). I've been using and abusing this poor little robot for a long time, at least 2 summers, and I've been exceptionally lazy by letting this do most of the work. This has some benefits like the fact that it doesn't clog quickly by capturing the fine particles. So for large debris it's great since you can let it suck up for multiple cycles before having to clean it. Just be ready to untangle the cord because there is no solution for anti-tangling. My pool has 2 drains on the bottom (apx. 8. feet deep) and are a few inches above the pool surface. This robot loves the drains and often gets 'stuck' on them and will not move.
