What a great place!! We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It seemed brand new, was clean, well kept, furnished with everything we needed, and was cutely decorated. Table and chairs, umbrella, nice fire pit and BBQ on our porch. Wow, it was nice! I was a little iffy about it because I had seen a bad review online. Beautiful location up in the hill overlooking the lake. The staff were top notch! The sites were clean and well cared for. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The gift shop was adorable. Location was a short drive to the lake and the town of Polson.
Seven of us stayed at the Polson Flathead KOA in July while we were in town for an outrigger canoe race, and overall we had a good stay. The cabin was in a fantastic location—close to both the lake and the fairgrounds, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The grounds were well maintained, and the cabin itself felt clean and fairly new. That said, we ran into several issues during our stay, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Beautiful views, extremely friendly staff, clean facilities, reasonable prices. I love getting to stay at koa’s when I camp out of my truck, sometimes they can get pricey but this one is very reasonable. You have a great view of the lake and mountains from any spot in the park. No complaints whatsoever!
Wonderful people! When we got there someone else had our tent site, and they did everything they could to get us another one! Even gave us a free mini golf game till they could get it figured out.
