I’ve had ongoing issues with my pool turning green, and every time I’ve gone to Poolwerx Modbury, their standard recommendation has been to floc — costing around $300 each time — without even testing my water. I later sought a second opinion from another pool company, who advised that all my pool needed was chlorine and more salt at a fraction of the cost. Really helpful people in here keep my pool looking great all year
I had a terrible experience with the curly hair lady at PoolWerks. She was incredibly rude and bossy, constantly telling people off and acting like she was the ultimate expert. When I asked for the pool pH report, she flat-out refused and said I had to buy something first- seriously? Since when is basic customer service locked behind a purchase? It felt like she was running her own money-minting operation rather than representing PoolWerks. Definitely not the kind of service I expected, and I won’t be going back!
We had Poolwerx help us with fire damage to our pool and pool pump as everything was destroyed. Manuel was extremely pleasant and responsive with the completion of works, and his communication through the process. I would highly recommend him.
DO NOT RECOMMEND I previously had poolwerx service my pool. I was advised in December 2023 that there was a blockage in the suction line pipework. Poolwerx provided me a quote of approximately $400 and I requested that they progress with the repairs. A few weeks later, Poolwerx again advised of a similar issue - that there was an air leakage coming from the suction pipework, and again provided a quote of approximately $300.
