I have had 3 experiences with this warranty company. All 3 were bad. First was an oil pan. Gasket was bad. But we didn’t know why it was leaking. The plastic oil pan was warped. We didn’t know that was the reason. But since it was off and replaced. They paid nothing. 2nd instance, cam phasers went out, I had a $100 dollar deductible but because the shop charges $175, an hour, they paid $77 dollars per hour. This company has the worst customer service when it comes to dispatchers. I called this morning (9am) to get my car towed. The woman answered the phone and I said hello, then proceeded to introduce myself. While introducing myself the woman placed me on hold with no warning whatsoever. When she came back on the call she was mid sentence stating something that was inaudible. There was a long pause and then she said “YES OR NO”. I made an excellent choice when I signed up for PWI. The staff is very professional and courteous plus took the time and patience to explain their claim process. They also reached out to the mechanic where my car was being serviced. They definitely put my mind at ease knowing I was in excellent hands if anything major needs repairing on my car.

Dealing with PWI Auto Warranty has been nothing short of a nightmare. They make the claims process as difficult as possible and seem to go out of their way to find any excuse to deny coverage. Every time I’ve tried to get help, I’ve been met with delays, fine print excuses, or outright denial. It feels like their entire business model is designed to avoid paying out. This company is a scam — save your money and avoid the headache. I would give zero stars if I could!! Save your money and avoid this company!!
