To start, the front desk staff and nurses are amazing here. Super efficient and kind. Dr. Okocha is the best Asthma doctor I’ve seen, and it sounds dramatic, but I can’t believe I lived so long struggling with asthma when doctors like her are out there providing such a high standard of care. She takes her time in appointments, asks good questions, and provides agile care that updates based on symptoms and need. If you’re struggling with Asthma or Allergies this is the place to go.
DO NOT GO HERE. You will not have proper care, treatment or testing. When you call to enquire about insurance and appointment availability, they are responsive and helpful. It seems they just want to get you in the door! The doctor was reassuring that if needing any questions answered, to call the office. That would be great if someone in the office answered the telephone. Not only is the receptionist never available, it seems nobody listens to messages on the answering machines. Really liked my previous doctor here and Dr. Okocha, as well as the nurses and technicians, but it has been impossible to get a call back in order to proceed with treatment. Also repeatedly asked that the office share information with my other doctors and despite several follow ups it was not done. For a corporate managed practice, it's surprising there is not an online portal to securely manage patient information or get in contact with the practice.
Dr Okocha is wonderful and the office used to be great (I’ve been coming almost weekly since June 2022). However, over the last 6 months there has been a major problem with the nursing staff. Many regularly don’t show up or come late, which results in long wait times (45-60 minutes) just to get allergy shots. This has been an ongoing issue, no one at the office I’ve spoken with seems to have the ability to fix it. Guessing the staffing issues are a corporate problem. While I've liked the doctors, the office management has really gone downhill. They do not answer the phone or reply to voicemails, do not send treatment notes to other doctors despite multiple requests, and after providing an updated address during my last in person visit, for months they sent bills to my old address putting me at risk of going into collections.
