I had a wonderful experience at AllerVie Health in Germantown, MD, from beginning to end. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and professional, both during my appointment and in a follow-up phone call afterward. The nurse who conducted the test and the nurse who reviewed the results both took the time to explain the allergy testing process, my results, and discuss my treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand. I dealt with itchy rashes and huge painful, itchy welts for a couple years until I found Dr. Goldman. I previously had an allergy patch test done by a different doctor that said I was allergic to only 1 thing (balsam of Peru). Dr. Goldman re-did the test and it turns out I’m allergic to 15-20 things, most of which are found in soaps & detergents and performance fabrics with latex/rubber. We took my daughter here to get tested, and they told us she had no allergies and that we should continue to give her said allergen. The tech than came in and told my husband "all the other doctors would have said she was allergic" which lead us to get a second opinion. We than were able to confirm that she was does in fact have the allergy we thought, and were prescribed an epi, and have an actual treatment plan now. The team was very helpful in setting up an appointment for both of my children. During the appointment the medical assistant and doctor was very attentive and listened to my concerns and helped make a plan to help my children’s allergies.
I love the Germantown office staff. They are kind, professional, and very accommodating. Their excellent care and friendly attitude make every visit a positive experience.
