We took my daughter here to get tested, and they told us she had no allergies and that we should continue to give her said allergen. The tech than came in and told my husband "all the other doctors would have said she was allergic" which lead us to get a second opinion. We than were able to confirm that she was does in fact have the allergy we thought, and were prescribed an epi, and have an actual treatment plan now. Dr Sohn diagnosed me with CVID (a primary immunodeficiency) after many years of misdiagnoses. Although the treatment requires weekly at home gammaglobulin infusions, I am doing so much better! She is easy to talk with, very knowledgable and her office staff are lovely. They arevery efficient and use technology effectively and respectfully. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Sohn!
It wasn’t that easy to make my initial appointment, the schedulers were quite rude when I had a question. I kept getting directed to the office & then wouldn’t hear back and would have to call in the main line & wait again. So frustrating! Then finally I got to see Dr. Sohn & I’m not sure I understand the great reviews I read. She didn’t explain anything clearly. Her bedside manners need significant improvement. Dr. Sohn is very attentive, she listens and considers my thoughts. She seems very knowledgeable and shares the many possible causes, diagnoses and treatments and let's me choose which is refreshing after the mushroom treatment I feel I have been getting. I highly recommend her!
Liked the doctor I saw here but terrible office management! They didn’t send in prescriptions when they were supposed to, no follow up on their end, dont return calls or emails, always running late and latest they decided to take an admin day and not call any patients on the schedule to tell them their appointments were cancelled!! Their website didn’t say they were closed either and they paid someone to sit at the desk all day. She said she didn’t have enough time to call patient and tell them.
