I have been going to Premier allergist for the last year for allergy shots. While the doctors are good and the receptionist is helpful, I have had seen too many mistakes occur and the office randomly closes without much prior notice. For someone trying to arrange shots to their schedule, it is extremely frustrating to have this occur. Dr.Lavinsky is an outstanding doctor who has great diagnostic acumen,structured approach to patient care and patient. She also has a great sense of humor. She saved my life on one occasion. I highly recommend her.
If you actually want to get your allergy shots regularly, DO NOT go here! They are open about 50% of the time they actually say they are. They claim to send text alerts for closures but they don’t. You can’t even call ahead to make sure they’re open, because you’ll only be connected to a central call center who has no idea whether the individual branches are actually open or not. I’ve never ever gone to a medical establishment that literally doesn’t want to have patients????? Baffling.
I called the office today around 9:45 am and spoke to Ms. Parker, the office manager, to see if I could be seen today. She advised that there were no openings and that I would be considered a new patient since I hadn’t been seen since 2020 (all while I sound horrible on the phone due to congestion). She robotically, without not one ounce of empathy, had the audacity to say I couldn’t be seen until March 10th. No discussion of symptoms to see if I could receive urgent care service. Disaster. Wrong dose administered to my wife and she ended up in the ER. This is my only sub 5-star review on Google maps so I’d tread with caution! I’m currently looking for a new allergist but am having little luck.
