I’m very disappointed with my experience at this radiology center. I’m over 40 and have insurance that fully covers my annual mammogram. I had my screening done here, but later found out that the doctor who reviewed my results was not in my insurance network — and I was billed $ $109.51 for something that should have been fully covered by my insurance. I have been here several times and have always been satisfied. But this time I'm very upset and disappointed. My doctor recommended me to have another MRI so I received a call from Premeir Radiology and they set me up an appointment. It was at 7:30 a.m. on Friday the 12th. And it's always been workman's comp for years. Needless to say their supposed to get any test approved before they call to set me up an appointment. We'll we live 100 miles away. This place doesn't deserve even one star. I had a mammogram screening and it was the worst medical experience I have ever encountered. The technician, Kim, was incompetent and, most importantly, lacks even basic human decency and compassion. She didn't initially explain how things should proceed and then scolded me for not doing it right without even looking at me, all while I was clearly in pain by the machine. I will never even consider this location moving forward. I had a 9am appointment and got into the office at 9:05 due to the struggle to find parking. I signed in and was told to sit and wait to be called back so I did. I was called to a window after 20 minutes and attempted to check in. After the woman at the window was beyond rude and kept making smart comments; she asked for my insurance card but I’m a service member- we don’t get insurance cards. I had a CT Scan done and tried to explain to the radiologist the position she put my arm was too painful , she dismissed me mid sentence and I had to hold my arm on the position over my head. It was only for a few minutes but now I'm unable to use my arm , move my neck or hold anything in my hand without extreme pain. I'm sure she would have accommodated me if she would have let me finish my statement. The CT scan was quick I only waited about 15 minutes in the lobby.
