My experience with Premier Radiology has been so bad it is comical. Scheduled 2 appts wrong, then texted me different times. then even though I have medicare and gave them my information, they cancelled one appt because they said they didn't take a hearth insurance company that has nothing to do with me. Half a dozen phone calls later I had one today at 4 pm. they just called me and cancelled it because no tech was going to show up. Apparently the one near me is run by one tech. My ultrasound results were somehow sent to the wrong address/fax number. So now I am apparently responsible for tracking everything down and fixing their mistake.
I arrived with procedure order in hand. I knew there might be a wait as I didn’t have an appointment. This is not my first visit to this facility. The girls at the desk asked for my insurance card and picture ID. They took those and the procedure order. The one gal came out and informed me directly that there would be quite a wait. I saw many great comments about Linda, and I have to agree—she is amazing. After my mammogram, I mentioned how nervous I was about the results, and she was kind enough to email me as soon as possible to let me know everything was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. The technician was also fantastic—she made me feel completely at ease during a procedure that can be quite uncomfortable. I highly recommend this place for their compassion, professionalism, and excellent care.
They calculated my insurance incorrectly for my radiology procedure, charging me 85% more than I should have paid. It’s been months, and after multiple calls to their company, I have yet to be reimbursed. Would not recommend going here. If you must, make sure they bill you rather than paying for their services in the office.
