The site manager is awesome Everything else is truly abysmal. Last Thursday I rented a storage unit. The next evening I went to my storage unit to put stuff in it. The lot closes at 10pm. At 10:05, I tried to leave, but the gate was locked and refused to accept my gate code. I called customer service, who scolded me before giving me a gate code, which did not work. I needed a storage unit at the last minute today, and I was able to complete the paperwork and move all my belongings in within an hour. Capri, the General Manager, assisted me and made the entire process enjoyable. I had been considering a different location, but I decided to keep my unit at the Palm Desert location solely because of her exceptional service. My name is John from Junk Away Junk Removal inc. I received a phone call from Prime Storage to do some work. Upon touring the facility I had to give this place a 5 star review. The customer service is excellent. The facility is very clean. I was driving a 16 foot Box truck and it was very easy to drive arround to find the unit. I highly recommend this place.
Quite possibly the worst storage unit company and location ever. After two months they increased my rent more than 100%, even while their website still advertised the old rate, meaning anyone could still sign up and pay the lower rate. Then I go to my unit a few days later to find the latch completely mutilated and my lock missing. Somebody broke into my unit! I just needed a smaller unit while I was in between places // apartment hunting. This place was the most affordable despite offering the same type of service that a lot of other facilities have for 1.5 to 2 times the price. They had a promotional deal going for the first month being free and then being charged each month after, so I took advantage of that.
