Since I travel a lot, I have had many storage units. Some of the units I have had were nothing but chaos leading to many headaches. Don't believe the prices listed on their web page. The price with the red line through it is what you'll actually be paying each month, plus taxes, required insurance, and a "facility fee". Also, they increase their prices at least twice a year, so don't plan on staying too long. My unit cost increased 50% in 8 months. I hope they purchase new hand trucks. They currently have only ONE for the entire place, and that has a broken wheel. You think they'd at least have the money to shell out for new hand trucks, given their ren... read more

The best part of pre-moving in was the young man I was greeted by. He answered all my questions and helped me to decide the perfect unit. I actually forgot his name but his schedule was the day and time contract was initiated. Thank you

I’ve rented storage units at many different facilities over the years, and I can honestly say that Prime Storage Windsor is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The facility itself is clean, secure, and well-run — but what really makes the difference here is the manager, Amber. She has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions, including showing up after hours to make sure I could get into my unit when I needed it most. I have only had my storage unit for 6 months and they have raised my rent extraordinarily twice. The first time they raised it from $100/ month to almost $200/ month. I called and complained and they reduced it to $140/month. (a 40% increase instead of 100%). 3 months later it jumped to $180/ month and I called again to complain and they reduced it to $170/ month. So after 6 months I am paying at a 70% increase from the original contract. I can't even check to see if my stuff is safe as I am very far away. My advise: don't u... read more
