My sister just rented a unit here and I have to say I'm impressed by the general manager Amber. You can tell how much she loves her job and how much this company means to her. She made everything so simple and got my sister into a very reasonably priced unit. I will definitely be sending anyone I know to Prime Storage in Windsor.
DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE. THIS STORAGE IS RAT INFESTED. I moved out because there were so many rats that destroyed my furniture. Rats were literally jumping out of items when we moved our stuff out--no attempt to make it right, except for to tell me to file an insurance claim, which I am in the slow process of doing. Since I travel a lot, I have had many storage units. Some of the units I have had were nothing but chaos leading to many headaches. Prime Storage however was the first facility that left me feeling like I was part of the family. The general manager Amber, wow she is one of a kind! Regarding the recurring rate increases for my climate‑controlled storage unit at Prime Storage in Windsor, CA. Despite being charged for a climate‑controlled unit, the building has been without functioning air conditioning for at least four months possibly longer. Each time I have contacted the facility for an update, I have been told that the issue is “being worked on,” yet no progress has been made and no realistic timeline has been provided.
