Could have been a lot better. Had an oil spill from another unit beside ours, run into ours, ruining two pieces of our furniture. The only communication was when I would reach out otherwise they could care less about it happening. Lastly, the place always had at least one garage door out of order, if not both, making it a hassle to get in and out, especially when busy with big vehicles. I started renting this unit back when it was Extra Space, and I was honestly very happy with the service — fair pricing, clean building, and no issues. Ever since Prime Storage took over, things have gone downhill fast. They began raising the rent little by little, and last month I even got a letter announcing another price hike. When I gave notice to move out, suddenly they offered to keep me at my current rate — why only then? On top of that, they push their insurance for $17, which is way overpriced. I had to wait a long time for help but once I received help they were wonderful. Both Zach and Phillip are professional and helpful. The virtual helper next to the desk is very loud when they are communicating. It was hard to communicate and hear with two people having a conversation so close via virtual.
If I could give zero stars I would! I have been here since February and it started out great. After 3 months, we reached out about the referral bonus and Zach the GM told us he could reach out to the company and that’s it. In July I reached out to them again and heard the same story. I was also told the District manager would reach out within 24 hours and I never heard back. Today, September 9th, I went in and got the same story again. The Wichita KS facility chooses to wait on auto insurance payments prior to replacing the roll up doors, both entry and exit, at different occasions, leaving the patrons paying the same amount for the access into the sallyport, loading and unloading items from storage on carts, through pedestrian doors only, in cold weather. Not to mention the constant increase in their rates, despite about 4 months or more of having to park outside to complete movements.
