This place is great. Practically brand new, well lit, and very secure. Close to home and very convenient. Customer service was great on the phone when asking questions about units for rent and the in person help at the facility with the representative Mike was even better. He took the time to show me the unit before renting it.
Beware of the “personal closet” units. They are stupid. They literally feel you in with the price and once you get them you realize these personal closet units, which you would assume are EASILY accessible have to be accessed using a step ladder. The design makes absolutely no sense . Other than that….pretty decent place
Do not use the place. They are not to be trusted! We had a unit that we had on auto payments since opening in September. Well thankfully my fiancé pays attention and noticed they didn’t take out the 8th of this month. He was quick to call but they were closed over the weekend, so he called this morning to hear that his account has been closed out because our locker was found empty with the lock open. The gentleman, Ed I spoke to was extremely friendly and patient. I had a little issue with my card, and he was very nice about it. The unit is also very nice. I got the 5x8, yes it is at the top, but it’s very spacious and worth the price.
Mike at the Shirley location was very professional and accommodating even though I got "excited" (for lack of better words) , when I heard my rate was being increased and told them I cannot continue renting a unit so Mr Mike went above and beyond and accommodated my rate to my original cost for the unit and if it wasn't for Mr Mike and his professional composer along with his results that he got from me I would have been moving my things out at the end of the month now I will be keep my property here indefinitely until I fin... read more
