The staff were friendly and helpful always, however, the storage unit price increased over time without a change in unit size and/or amenities to the property. Storage was safe, clean for the most part, easy to access, and there was always a dolly available to use if needed.
Great rentals, easy to get a unit, affordable pricing! Listen well to the customers & the needs! Kitty was such a great help- even took the time to show me around the property! I recommend anyone that needs a storage unit to GET ONE FROM THEM!!!
This location in Gastonia is well-maintained and kept exceptionally clean. Kitty in the office has always been helpful, efficient, and considerate when assisting me and other folks I’ve seen in the office looking to rent space. Many self-storage offices have a revolving door with personnel, so it's really good that Kitty has been there for some time. I'm certain that the company must value her knowledge and great customer service skills!
Initially I was not happy. Their website advertised the cheapest unit at $29 something a month. When I got there I was told that in addition to that, I needed to pay a monthly insurance fee as well as a one time start up fee. False advertising, straight up. But it worked – it got me in the door. Before we could move anything in our circumstances changed, and it turns out, we did not need the unit. At that point, kitty was extremely helpful. She went to bat for me and made sure we were refunded everything we had paid upfront.
It is bitter sweet to move out of the Prime Storage in Gastonia,, the staff is amazing, especially Kitty. Over the past year Kitty was always at the office and greeted me with a smile and all others. She recognized one day I was feeling faint and she recognized it and had me come in and sit to cool down. This is just one moment of her kindness and care.
