Setting up our storage was super easy. The people in the office were very friendly and we have a storage unit in a good location and it is very convenient. We didn’t realize we needed a special lock until we were moving our stuff in but it was available for purchase. We’re glad someone was in the office when we arrived. Overall, great storage for a great price…very clean and safe!
Of all the times I have had to move. I have to say this was the best customer service (care) by far. Steven went out of his way to help me get all of my belongings to the unit from my former home. I will absolutely recommend Prime Storage and Steven in Nokomis. You will not be disappointed.
Had a bit of an issue when I provided proof of personal property insurance but it was not forwarded so I continued to be charged for a couple of weeks. A part time fellow was filling in for the manager who was out sick spent quite a bit of time straightening it all out. He was a very personable and competent employee. My only other issue would be about the special lock. I was required to purchase for $20 even though I had my own padlock. Then I saw that many or most of the storage units had regular padlocks on them.
Just started renting from them 2 months ago and the experience has been awful. I am in the back building with sliding glass door to enter. In this period of time... the doors are constantly open, letting the a/c air out. My unit today was at 78 and I am paying for a climate control unit. When I went to front desk to complain, the guy looked at me and said there is nothing he can do that I have to email and he will funnel it up to the appropriate person. Seriously!!! After only a few months of service they sent me a notice that the rate was going up about 30%. I've lost all trust in your company and will never deal with you again. I found better space for about 30% less than what I was paying with you originally.
