Love living here at Prospect Park! You could not ask for a better location, steps away from the Holiday Manor shopping center - making running errands and shopping super simple! Easy access to Expressway/Interstate, approximately a 8-10 minute drive to downtown.

I am filing this complaint regarding improper water and sewer billing at Prospect Park Apartments in Louisville, Kentucky, managed by IRT Management, LLC. My roommate and I signed a lease for Apartment 2375 with a lease term from April 18, 2025, to April 13, 2026. According to the signed lease agreement, water and sewer are listed as a fixed monthly charge of $70, which is part oof the monthly rent charges. This is simply the worst place I've ever lived. This place has leaks. I've had four leaks since I've moved in. FOUR. We have mice because the garbage is always full spilling over from the dumpster. I called the health department it is so bad. I've never had cockroaches at an apartment in my life. The day I moved in, there were dead cockroaches. They showed me an apartment that wasn't the apartment I moved into. There is animal bags of feces that just pile up because no one comes to clean it up. Nothing was ready in my apartm... read more

Good location, it stops about there. I lived here a few years ago and a man that worked in the office would come out and ask young kids in the pool to "quite down" I'm all for keeping kids under control for the respect of people around you, but it's a pool .... For one, you all put it right next to the office... And 2 we pay for that. Enforce lease rules but don't expect us to accommodate you, our rent pays your check. Roaches, moldy pumpkins (in May), overgrown shrubs, 1970's stove/oven. Walking through this apartment complex, you can tell that it's run down. Had our keys for two days, didn't even move our stuff in - I was not comfortable moving my two babies here. We stayed in a hotel instead. Every time we came in to clean or get ready to move in, there were roaches in the kitchen. Prospect Park is horrible. The manager complains about my dog yet Jessica, the manager, has at least a 60lb Pitbull. not only is her dog overweight but also the number one dog on the forbidden list. How does she get away with having a pitbull and my lab is against the rules? Makes no sense. Since she became the manager she has had 7-8 employees and they've all quit. They have lots of turnover. Great location. That's about the only great thing about living here. The on-site managment team is absolutely horrendous. The corporate office is even worse. When serious issues such as electrical issues were not addressed I escalated the issues to IRT corporate. The regional director was one of the rudest professionals I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with.
