I had a crown lengthening procedure at Pulse Periodontics with Dr. Mailapur, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was incredibly gentle, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the entire visit went smoothly. I am in love with my new smile!
From the entrance to the end of my visit, the staff was professional and warm. The office is modern. Dr. Mailapur is open, knowledgeable, and very willing to explain her findings. This doctor was a random pick for me that am very happy with.
After many years at another Periodontist I was extremely pleased to learn of new procedures they introduced for my specific issues. Dr was very thorough with my initial consultation and I am looking forward to my first appointment already scheduled.
I was scheduled for a procedure at this office and was provided both a treatment plan and an associated price quote. The original appointment was set for 1/5/26; however, the physician canceled due to being out of the country. I agreed to reschedule for 1/19/26. Upon arriving for the rescheduled appointment, I was unexpectedly quoted a completely different price than the original treatment plan. I had a gingival graft done on 1/6/26 by Dr. Maliapur to treat some fairly advanced gum recession. I'm now two weeks post op and thrilled with my results. Dr. Maliapur has a lovely personality and clearly cares about her patients and their experience. I was warned in advance that a gingival graft was quite painful, but I was pleasantly surprised that, while fairly uncomfortable at times, I was able to successfully manage my pain level with just plain Tylenol and ibuprofen.
