Awesome staff. Clean facility. Family friends. Everybody is respectful and kind. First time campers here and we are so glad we picked this spot for our first trip! Couldnt figure a few things out and everybody was so ready to lend us a hangld. The manager..you can tell she puts A LOT of effort into making this place awesome. We wanted to stay an extra day and she made it so easy for us. Very nice RV part with lots to do. 2 pools to enjoy. Plenty of room around each pool to relax and hang out. They cook waffles on the weekends with were delicious. They have a put put golf course, pickle ball courts and nice pool tables. There are permanent people that stay there but everybody we meet was super cool and nice. The Lots are spacious and level.
I’m leaving this 1-star review because the campground refused to refund my reservation after I explained that my truck blew an engine three days before my trip and is currently at the Toyota dealership. I offered proof that the truck is not drivable, which also means I cannot tow my camper. They offered to let me reschedule, but this was only a one-night stopover on my route, not a destination I had future plans to visit. My husband and I spent the 4th of July weekend at Raleigh Oaks. We had an amazing time in the pool with a live DJ and really good food provided by the employees. My nephews enjoyed the splash wagon on a ride through the campground spraying and getting sprayed. I would suggest this place to anyone who enjoys camping with added activities for all ages.
Very pretty campground. All sites are gravel with grass on the spacious sites. Although not horribly priced, felt upscale. There were many folks there camping an extended stay but it did not have the feel of a campground with long term campers like some do. Also had tons of cabins with huge decks. We will be back! We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.
