I joined RALLY (NAVY-ARMY) CREDIT UNION 9552 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78418 about 7 years ago. They were pretty good until about the time they changed their name to RALLY from Navy Army. The call center claimed that every recurring monthly transfer has to be confirmed by a phone call...a supervisor corrected that as not true. I utilize the recurring transfers to pay for loans with other institutions. They always use the clause that states a transfer takes 2-3 business days. Evidently, the money leaves my ac... read more
I cannot stress enough: If you can avoid working with Rally, do it. I’ve never had so much trouble with a banking institution than I have had with Rally. Today, May 12, I am still within in my 30 days of payment due. I’ve been struggling to make my payment lately. (This is all after a disastrous experience with Lithia Dodge that resulted in INCREASING my payment instead of decreasing like I intended.) I have been banking here for over 10 years and service has been so bad, especially with my account service like cashing checks. Online phone service is a disaster, so much work and questions to answer before speaking with someone and my hold times are usually around 20 minutes. Today it has been over 50 minutes on hold. I've had bank charges go through that shouldn't have and incurred insufficient funds fees that I did not sign up for.
