Brad and team did a great job and were super friendly. Had my main water supply fixed up (hanging out of the wall crooked, crushed internally we later found out, and overall in bad shape), redid a water softener loop (rusted/oxidized/partly broken/unusable), a bypass, and installed a water pressure valve along with the water heater adjustment that goes along with it. Being a Veteran Myself, I really appreciate that most everyone with Reading and Sons Plumbing are Veterans as well. Brad came to Our home and was great!!! As a single homeowner, I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with plumbers—being overcharged for work that wasn’t done, misled about the time they actually spent on repairs and even dismissed in favor of speaking to a "man of the house" instead of addressing me directly. Our water heater started leaking and corroding on the top but was still working. We called Reading & Son Plumbing and arranged for a new water heater over the phone after discussing our options and pricing. Two days later, we had a new water heater installed. The installer was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We are highly satisfied with this plumbing company after requiring their services twice since we have moved to the Peoria area.
All the plumbers and support staff are wonderful. They do great work. The office manager, Amy, does not and is lacking in customer service skills. We had a billing discrepancy. I spoke with her once. She did not follow up like she said she would. I had to call again. She called me back a second time, but didn’t call back to follow up after that despite assuring me she would.
