We purchased a new home and 3 days after moving in found a gas leak. We called multiple plumbers around the area and got estimates for the fix. Of the three companies that were rated high, I have to say Reading was the most affordable. All companies need to make profit and this is understood. But I am disappointed in the Plumbing companies in Peoria, they quote high. Reading quoted us 12 hours worth of labor, 1 and a 1/2 days total. The technicians showed up on time and started work immediately after bringing in their tools. They were very knowledgeable and were quick to complete items on my contract. They cleaned up after the work was completed for the day, They were very careful to not damage any other areas in the home. They were pleasant to be around. I highly recommend them as their work ethic is the best I've seen lately.
This is the 3rd time I've used them since buying this house 6 years ago. I cannot say enough good about them. When they call to notify me when they are coming, they are so kind. The service persons are exceptional. They aren't trying to "scam" with unnecessary repairs. They are the only ones i will use. Great service!
I was looking for plumbers on the Peoria Illinois FB Community Page. And many people recommend Reading & Son Plumbing Inc. I called them up and set a appointment. They came in the day right in time which was really nice someone making it on the time they say. Two gentlemen took care of the plumbing problem In about 20 minutes. They were kind and very professional. I will use them every year for periodic maintenance. And I highly recommend them.
Had ejector pump replaced and at another visit leak detection work done. First while expensive was excellent. Leak detection was less than successful, but some suggestions were made. This is a wonderful company with skillful people and is very easy to do business with.
