We hit the Heat Pump installation lottery with Doug and his team over at Red Rock Mechanical! Had it installed last week, just in time for the 100+ degree day we are having and we couldn’t be happier! In fact, last night, our three year old asked me to “move the sun to make it warmer” because he thought it was chilly in the house!

Really 4.8 stars?...they are most difficult to contact, do not return calls, and in fact have had 2 appointments with them that they never showed or called to cancel or reschedule. I can appreciate the reviews that they do good work, but how is it possible to run a company when you fail to communicate or keep appointments. I guess the positive reviews were the ones where they honored their appointment.

I have used red rock in the past and had great service. I contacted them over a month ago to replace my cooling unit. We set a date 3 weeks out. The week before they were due to show I messaged to confirm and got told it would have to be another week due to supply issues. That appointment came and my husband is waiting at the house and hears nothing from them. I call to ask what's going on and get told he will find out and call my husband. I always prefer to work with a local family owned businesses as I find they care more, but in this case something is definitely wrong. I repeatedly asked for a call and a quote and they just ghosted me for 4 weeks. I am now calling other people but I lost time and may not be able to do the project this year as I was planning. Beware.

I'm reading the comments shown here and they appear to be 50/50 in ratings. Fortunately, I am in the 50% that gives 5 stars for a fantastic job they did on a hot water heater installation. The two young men that came out to do the work were courteous and extremely proficient in the installation and when I received my bill it was a fraction of what was quoted by a competitor. I'll stand by my 5 star rating and recommend this company anytime.
