I waited months for a wheelchair. They finally brought a loner that tipped over. Then, brought my chair with missing parts. It has set here since December and it’s now close to March. They want to charge insurance again for the missing parts. Really? This is unacceptable for me and tax payers.
I am very upset with the lack of communication with a certain person. When I was certified to get a chair, I asked for a medical mobility electric scooter. I received a medical mobility electric wheelchair. We called several several times finally I and my Husband; Alan called the Medicare office and found out that I could send the chair back and get one that was suitable for me to use. Spoke with an individual who said he would get things going for my insurance and should be getting a call within a week to schedule an in home visit for approval. Well I got a call but to say that Jessica was the one handling my case now. She said they would reach out within a week but not even after I talked with her again and she told me they would be calling that day…..no call. Regab medical clearly dropped the ball. I guess moving on to next company.
